A Run sort of

1.5 around the block, getting ready for the marathon.

Another Easy 2

Just staying loose for the marathon, starting to gather all the normal junk I take along, way to much stuff.

Result from the ELF

did 10k in 1:04:00, but had me in wrong age group, so got no points for the race.  Did email them to make change. Streak is still on 1mile today run at club. 3 mile bike.

Race

Was race 1 of the 5 races all at 10k for the next 3 months.  Started late due to large turnout.  Felt good during the race, 35 deg. windy and some snow.  Didn't hang around to see results, my watch did not start till mile 1, time for a new one? So thinking I got in at 1:12:00.  Pictures next post.

Rain Saturday

Wet day rain all day but warm 50's, got in a 2 mile run between drops.  10k race on Sunday for Childhood Cancer, nice refuse a tee shirt and that money goes to the fund raising effort, got all kinds of tee shirts as it is.

Black Friday

The day started out with a 4 mile spin on the trainer at 5:30am.  Then off to get oil change a walk the car lot, Black Friday sale going on so wanted to upgrade so got a van, ha! Nice 2005 Dodge, electric sliding doors and rear hatch that opens with a touch of a button.

The day ended with a 1 mile inside run.  The streak of running everyday till Jan, 2nd.

Turkey Trot 2011

12:30am my doggie needed to go out, we got that business done then she wanted to play and bugged me till I threw the ball 50 times, here she is:

so back to bed for me as I need my sleep for the 5 mile run that starts at 8am.

Before the FEAST

So the plan for today 11/23/11 short hill repeats at the local trail.  No deer hunting in the trail system so I can feel at ease in the woods. I'll post some pictures later.  Then its some house cleaning and catch up on yard work it will be +44 with sunshine and 50's on Thanksgiving and black Friday.  Have a turkey trot to run also on Thanksgiving a nice 5 mile, and then Packers maybe a bike ride and a easy mile or two run. Just had to post a picture of a mtn. bike race I did, 6hour time ride, hey I was in the lead for the start.
